Increase in Official INPI Fees

The National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) has ordered the adjustment of its fees and charges in line with inflation, in accordance with the resolution currently in force.

On March 18, Resolution No. 75/2026 was published; this measure entails a significant fee increase effective April 1, 2026. It also introduces a dynamic adjustment mechanism, under which the costs associated with industrial property proceedings will no longer be fixed.

The update covers the agency's main fees, which will now be adjusted based on a new reference unit: the Industrial Property Fee Measurement Unit (UMAPI).

Fee values will therefore be updated monthly in line with the general level of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) published by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC).
